Accommodation

You will enjoy 3 nights in the Braye Beach Hotel on the north coast of the island. The Braye Beach Hotel looks out directly over Braye Beach where you will see the fisherman head out for the day. This is the only four star hotel on the island

You will stay in a sea view double room at Braye Beach hotel (view subject to availability). The rooms are modern with a beachy atmosphere and each has its own substantial ensuite bathroom. The hotel has its own restaurant with a focus on fresh locally sourced ingredients.

This year's Alderney Performing Arts Festival is themed the Deep South and will offer jazz, opera, film, art, sculpture and a variety of locally sourced food. Now in its eighth year, Alderney’s Performing Arts Festival is bringing an exciting programme of concerts, shows, dances, workshops, street-dancing and circus acts from far and wide on May’s last bank holiday weekend. Passports: Be sure to have at least 6 months remaining on your passport before you travel.

Currency: GBP £

Credit Cards: Credit Cards are accepted in hotels, but many other places require cash payments. There are numerous ATMs available.

Voltage: 220 volts (50 hz)

Alderney is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. However, it follows all UK immigration and frontier control rules. It is NOT part of the Shenghen area. All visitors from EU must have a valid passport and those with NON-EU passports must have a separate UK Entry Visa from January 31st 2020. All non-UK passports must have a minimum of 6 months validity.

Travel Insurance: It is compulsory for all guests to have normal travel insurance - please take out appropriate insurance for your activities with a reputable insurer in your home country.

Cancellation Policy: Bookings made are non-refundable from 90 days prior to the date of arrival. Bookings can be adjusted up until 14 days prior to arrival, but additional costs may be incurred in case cancellations with certain suppliers are not possible.

Payments: Payment is required upon receipt of the booking confirmation document by the customer and payment should be made by bank transfer.
