Diving holidays don’t have to be accompanied by basic accommodation, beach partygoers making noise through the night and basic buffets. Red Sea
The Red Sea offers some of the best diving in the world and its unique make up with its warmth and its salinity give it some truly diverse flora and fauna. There are sites available for divers of varying abilities from a wreck dive, through to a drift dive, a shelf dive and more a simple reef dive. The wildlife is truly spectacular and makes the dive experience memorable and exciting for new and experienced divers alike while the warm waters create a comfortable diving experience year-round.

Where to Stay
El Gouna is a great base for divers with its own marinas and numerous dive centres operating in the resort town. It is also fairly centrally located for access to all of the famous and special Red Sea dive sites. There are a range of properties available throughout the town to own or rent as well as some stunning hotels.
Our favourite place for access to dive sites is to stay in the elegant and chic Ancient Sands Resort – family friendly but luxury self-catering accommodation with stunning fully equipped suites. The self-catering set up of the suites is perfect for divers who are often up and out too early for ‘hotel breakfast time’. For those who love the Red Sea dive experience, as so many do, buying a home in the Ancient Sands project which can be leased back to the hotel operator when you’re not using it seems a complete no brainer!
Adriatic
The Adriatic offers some genuinely unusual dive opportunities with challenging sites from exciting and occasionally spooky cave and cavern dives through to wreck exploration and tunnels and reefs. Dive sites like the famous steam ship wreck Tihany are suitable for advanced divers only, but there are also many exciting suites suitable for certified beginners. Surface support is needed for many of the famous Montenegrin dive sites. Montenegro can be a challenging location to learn to scuba dive for complete beginners owing to the challenges of the more interesting sites. Wet suits are needed at most times in the Adriatic with temperatures ranging from 12 to 25 degrees depending on the time of year. As well as experiencing dive sites in the Adriatic and Kotor Bay, visitors to Montenegro can also dive in the unique Skadar lake which offers exciting wrecks to explore and some unusual wildlife.

Porto Montenegro provides some excellent accommodation options right on the stunning Kotor Bay. There are a number of dive trips that can be arranged from its stunning marina. We highly recommend staying at the Regent at Porto Montenegro. There are also a number of residential hotel suites available at the Regent which make a great investment for lovers of scuba.
Cuba
There are a number of dive opportunities in Cuba with varied diving styles to the north and south of the island respectively. Shark enthusiasts will love the dive sites in Cuba as nearly a fifth of the world’s shark species can be discovered in these waters. The Gardens of the Queen marine reserve to the south of the island offers some of the most pristine diving opportunities in the world. Diving is best in the dry season (November to April) with water temperatures around 25 degrees.
