You will enjoy 4 nights in the Ancient Sands five star aparthotel located in the luxury zone of El Gouna, with on-site restaurants, pools and concierge it is the perfect base as you explore the charms of El Gouna and enjoy the El Gouna Advanced Kiting Experience.

El Gouna is home to over 100 restaurants and bars, three stunning marinas, two golf courses, beautiful beaches and over 16 hotels. It is the perfect beach lifestyle punctured with luxury lifestyle opportunities.

You will stay in a private suite at Ancient Sands with its own private living room and kitchen as well as a stunning terrace looking out over beautifully landscaped grounds. Ancient Sands is a beautiful resort with its own 9 hole golf course, hotel reception, restaurants and spectacular swimming pools. Larger groups may opt to share two or three bedroom apartment suites (subject to availability)

Experience & Itinerary

This El Gouna Advanced Kiting experience is for advanced riders and includes hydrofoil board and advanced kit. Kitesurfing is a fantastic way to enjoy the wind and waves off El Gouna. Tuition by qualified instructors for tricks enhancement is also included for a half day session.

MEPM will provide you with a complimentary El Gouna lifestyle tour, where you will be able to discover El Gouna's neighbourhoods, facilities and features. We recommend that you take this tour at the beginning of your visit so that you can then use the information you glean to make the most of your visit.

The full itinerary can be found below and we have left you plenty of time and opportunity to explore El Gouna's stunning sites, exceptional cuisine and other activities. You can also make scheduling adjustments to the El Gouna Advanced Kiting itinerary to meet your needs with special agreement.

NOTE TO PARTICIPANTS: Being able to kite surf is dependent upon the wind. In case the weather is not suitable for kite surfing, an alternative Cable Park experience with tuition for wake boarding will be provided.

Need to Know

Visas: Check if you need a visa. Many nationalities can secure a visa on arrival to allow 30 days stay without an advance visa.

Passports: Be sure to have at least 6 months remaining on your passport before you travel.

Currency: Egyptian Pound

Credit Cards: Credit Cards are accepted in hotels, but many other places require cash payments. There are numerous ATMs available.

Language: Arabic (English widely spoken)

Travel Insurance: Kite surfing is classified as a Dangerous Sport. It is compulsory for all guests to have normal travel insurance and all guests must also extend their coverage to cover dangerous sports in their home country to cover the activities. Insurance Certificates will be requested upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy: Bookings made are non-refundable from 90 days prior to the date of arrival. Bookings can be adjusted up until 14 days prior to arrival, but additional costs may be incurred in case cancellations with certain suppliers are not possible.

Payments: Payment is required upon receipt of the booking confirmation document by the customer and payment should be made by bank transfer.

Flights are not included in the experience. Participants should fly to Hurghada, Egypt for this experience. The following is a list of all direct flights. There are also connections via Cairo to Hurghada every couple of hours. Other indirect flights are also available.
