On each day of the El Gouna Emerald Waters Taster Experience you will discover a different locations and if you're lucky you may see dolphins or one of the four types of sea turtle that inhabit the Red Sea waters.

Accommodation

You will enjoy 4 nights in the Ancient Sands five star aparthotel located in the luxury zone of El Gouna, with on-site restaurants, pools and concierge it is the perfect base as you explore the charms of El Gouna and enjoy the El Gouna Emerald Waters Taster Experience.

El Gouna is home to over 100 restaurants and bars, three stunning marinas, two golf courses, beautiful beaches and over 16 hotels. It is the perfect beach lifestyle punctured with luxury lifestyle opportunities.

You will stay in a private suite at Ancient Sands with its own private living room and kitchen as well as a stunning terrace looking out over beautifully landscaped grounds. Ancient Sands is a beautiful resort with its own 9 hole golf course, hotel reception, restaurants and spectacular swimming pools. Larger groups may opt to share two or three bedroom apartment suites (subject to availability)

Experience

The El Gouna Emerald Waters Taster experience gives you the chance to discover the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea and all of its flora and forna. Each day you will take an escorted snorkel RIB trip (you select morning or afternoon) to a different location with reefs, beaches and islands to explore and drift snorkeling. See the diverse range of flora and fauna that inhabit the Red Sea including lionfish, morey eels, four species of sea turtle and beautiful underwater plants and coral.

One afternoon you will enjoy a stunning sunset cruise on a catamaran where you will have the chance to explore some of the beautiful reefs off El Gouna before heading back to the marina as the sun gently drops behind the red coastal mountains.

MEPM will provide you with a complimentary El Gouna lifestyle tour, where you will be able to discover El Gouna's neighbourhoods, facilities and features. We recommend that you take this tour at the beginning of your El Gouna Emerald Waters Taster experience so that you can then use the information you glean to make the most of your visit.

NOTE TO PARTICIPANTS:

Subject to the weather it may not be possible to take a trip every day using the RIB. In case a trip is not possible on any given day you will be offered one of the following half day alternatives in substitute (subject to availability):

Need to Know

Visas: Check if you need a visa. Many nationalities can secure a visa on arrival to allow 30 days stay without an advance visa.

Passports: Be sure to have at least 6 months remaining on your passport before you travel.

Currency: Egyptian Pound

Credit Cards: Credit Cards are accepted in hotels, but many other places require cash payments. There are numerous ATMs available.

Language: Arabic (English widely spoken)

After a leisurely breakfast it is time to head out for your first experience of the stunning Red Sea waters. You will be taken in a RIB with captain to one of the secret Emerald Water destinations. You will have to wait and see what you will discover!

In the late afternoon, you will head to Abu Tig marina to board a stunning catamaran - a great chance to meet some like minded holiday makers. The boat will take you out to some of the beautiful reefs off the El Gouna coast before you watch the sun set behind El Gouna and its red tinted mountain backdrop as you return to port.

Terms & Conditions

Minimum booking: 1 person

RIB Snorkeling Trips: Fuel, RIB and Captain / Guide included. Fuel is to predefined locations. Special requests for alternative or repeat visits to locations may incur extra charges. Maximum RIB capacity is 6 pax plus Captain. There may be other people joining on the RIB who are not part of your party.

Travel Insurance: It is compulsory for all guests to have normal travel insurance - please take out appropriate insurance for your activities with a reputable insurer in your home country.

Cancellation Policy: Bookings made are non-refundable from 90 days prior to the date of arrival. Bookings can be adjusted up until 14 days prior to arrival, but additional costs may be incurred in case cancellations with certain suppliers are not possible.

Payments: Payment is required upon receipt of the booking confirmation document by the customer and payment should be made by bank transfer.

Flights are not included in the experience. Participants should fly to Hurghada, Egypt for this experience. The following is a list of all direct flights. There are also connections via Cairo to Hurghada every couple of hours. Other indirect flights are also available.
