Need to Know
Visas: Check if you need a visa. Many nationalities can secure a visa on arrival to allow 30 days stay without an advance visa.
Passports: Be sure to have at least 6 months remaining on your passport before you travel.

Credit Cards: Credit Cards are accepted in hotels, but many other places require cash payments. There are numerous ATMs available.

You will be met at the airport and will then travel in style to the stunning and relaxing environment of Ancient Sands Resort, a unique aparthotel with incredible views across the golf course to the sea beyond. You will check in to your room and you will be able to enjoy a private lifestyle tour of El Gouna to discover what's on offer. The evening will be yours to spend as you wish.

A full day intro to kiting course will whet your appetite for this thrilling activity. Learn how to set up and tune the kite, boardstart theory, kiting safety, deep water packdowns / self rescue (on land). This will prepare you for the next days where you will head into the water to practice basics of kiting.
Kite surfing kit included.

It's time to get in the water. Days two and three of the course will see you working on controlled downwind, upwind, direction and balance body dragging (where you kite in the shallows without a board), boardstarts in the water, edging the board and controlling speed, deep water pack downs and continuous and upwind riding.

Now that you have the basics behind you, it's time to ride on your own and see what you can do when you really get out there. Your kiting experience will continue in the safe confines of the kiting school beach area, so there will be help on hand from the school if you get into any difficulty. Don't worry - if you're not confident to ride on your own at this stage, additional tuition can be arranged (at additional cost).

It's time to head on home with excellent memories of your experience in El Gouna. Or you could always extend your trip! Use your last day to explore El Gouna or pick up some souvenirs for friends and family at home.

Kit: Kiting kit and tuition is included in the package price
Travel Insurance: Kite surfing is classified as a Dangerous Sport. It is compulsory for all guests to have normal travel insurance and all guests must also extend their coverage to cover dangerous sports in their home country to cover the activities. Insurance Certificates will be requested upon arrival.
Cancellation Policy: Bookings made are non-refundable from 90 days prior to the date of arrival. Bookings can be adjusted up until 14 days prior to arrival, but additional costs may be incurred in case cancellations with certain suppliers are not possible.
Payments: Payment is required upon receipt of the booking confirmation document by the customer and payment should be made by bank transfer.
